On The Reading List
Thought-provoking reads for life, sport and everything in between.

The coach that every athlete needs (in my opinion).
This Is About Running. This Is Not About Running isn't just a book about the things that will help you become a better runner. It's also about becoming a more in-tune athlete (and probably a little more in-tune with yourself as a person, too).
The book really highlights the importance of knowing yourself, being honest with yourself (even when it's not what you want to hear), and taking a minute to actually check in with yourself.Coach Bennett has a way of making you feel like he's having a conversation with you rather than just giving you another pep talk. He's relatable, funny, and the book is such an easy read. And honestly, you don't even need to be a runner to appreciate it.
At the end of the day, this book is a reminder that we're people first, athletes second. And sometimes the most important work has absolutely nothing to do with running.
Any athlete, regardless of their sport, can find something to connect with in this one.
